Think you might have a case?

Turn a lemon into lemonade by following these three steps:

1 Qualify

  1. Did you buy your car brand new or a used vehicle still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty?
  2. Did you have to take it back to the dealership for multiple repair attempts for the same problem?
  3. Did the dealership take too much time repairing your vehicle?

If the answer is “yes” to these questions, you may have a claim that we can help you with.

2 Learn

To find out more, read the FAQ and “Do I Have a Valid Claim?” pages in our Information section. There you will learn more about the Texas Lemon Law, the DTPA, and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. This information will save you valuable time and will help you get a full understanding of your rights as a consumer.

3 Evaluate

Once you’ve determined that you might have a case, complete the Case Evaluation Form. Once we receive your submission, we'll contact you to review and evaluate your claim.

What is the Lemon Law?

The Texas Lemon Law, along with State and Federal Warranty Laws, offer protection to consumers who have purchased defective automobiles, trucks, RV's (including travel trailers), and motorcycles. If you have taken your vehicle in for repair under warranty two or more times, you may have a lemon law and/or a breach of warranty claim.

My NEW vehicle was giving me fits for two years. I voiced my displeasure to my sales person and everyone up to the district manager. I emailed everyone repeatedly at my dealership and even made a case with Chrysler. After replacing almost every part of my drivetrain at least once and fixing several other problems, my vehicle finally operated the way you expect a new car to perform. While considering getting rid of my vehicle before anything else went wrong, it occurred to me that the list of repairs that had been made would really discourage most people from paying a fair price. That is when I remembered a bookmark I made earlier for The Riffe Law Firm when I was researching the Lemon Law. I called Brad, talked about my concerns, emailed a couple documents and he took care of the rest. Chrysler would not offer me $1 on my own, but in no time Brad had an offer from them that I could not refuse. My vehicle is running great now, and I feel more than compensated for all of my troubles. If you are reading this testimonial you probably have concerns about a vehicle you are experiencing problems with. I advise you to stop reading and call The Riffe Law Firm now! You might be pleasantly surprised.

On the day I received a call from Brad, it was like a breath of fresh air.  He took a few moments of my time to go over my options and pretty much assured me that he will give my case the attention it deserves.  At that point, I felt so confident I didn't call around to any other attorney for advice on what to do about my BMW 550i.  All he needed from me were my documents and a few months of patience.  Unfortunately, I had an accident in the vehicle and no longer have it, but that had no bearing on my case.  Brad went to bat for me and I still received a very fair Settlement from BMW USA.  I was just about to give up and take the nearly 9,000 negative trade in equity before receiving Brad's call.  I am so glad I waited.  I will not hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone that may need his services.  You do NOT have to live with a lemon and Brad can prove it to you.
